Ben’s been trying to help me level my new hunter, Tuulantha, so that I can play on the same server as him. Unfortunately he’s halfway through level 60 so it’s going to take awhile, although not as long as it used to thanks to Blizzard increasing experience gained from both quests & adventuring between 20 & 60. I do have a 60 rogue, but I took advantage of a free server transfer ages ago and apart from not wanting to pay for a transfer back, I’d have to change her name since another rogue now has her name :\  In any case I’ve fallen in love with the Hunter class so I’m happy to level up yet another hunter :)

I’ve been through several instances already thanks to Ben dragging me through them all and so my little Blood Elf hunter (I chose Blood Elf just to play with the new starting zones and it really has made it so much more interesting) is looking pretty spiffy now with all the great drops she’s had to herself. Not to mention that he helped me get my new pet, a boar I’ve called Gorignak, a reference to Galaxy Quest and the initial misunderstanding that Gorignak was the pig lizard Commander Taggart was fighting (hence the quote in the title). Anyway, my awesome looking boar used to be a Rotting Agam’ar in Razorfen Kraul and even though he needs a few more levels under his belt he’s already proving his worth as a tank. Not to mention that he makes Tuulantha look so much cooler just standing next to her!

Now I just need to get from 32 to 35 and then I can get dragged through some more instances to shoot up a few more levels. I was sceptical about the faster levelling speed at first, but I’m actually enjoying it and it’s nice to know that this won’t be a long, painful slog.
