I mentioned a couple of posts ago that I’ve gotten a new DPS pet, a Wind Serpent who used to go by the name Arikara and that I’ve chose to call Ripley. Reasons for the name are all in said earlier post. Anyway, here’s a picture of her and my new companion pet I picked up recently, a Silver Dragonhawk Hatchling.

Which reminds me, a great place to go for pictures and a way to track your non-combat pet collections is WarcraftPets.com. My collection is listed here and obviously I still have a long way to go!

A couple of other things before I get back to playing. I hit 40 a few days ago and thanks to the wonders of taking two gathering professions and Ben running me through instances (which meant I got a heap of greens meant to be split between five characters), I had enough money to get my mount straight off. Bit of a change from my last couple of characters that I got past 40. I don’t think Kyllikki got her mount for several levels after, but then the game has changed a lot since then. You level faster, there’s more gold, more drops; it’s crazy now!  So here’s my Black Hawstrider:

Yes, it makes strange noises and looks suspiciously like a rather gaudy ostrich, but it’s faster than running and the only mount I can get right now. What I would like to get around the 60 level is a White Riding Talbuk. Pretty huh?

And finally, one last screenshot. I came across this sad little image while running around the Alterac Mountains trying to get back some crown that an ogre had stolen.

How sad is that? Poor puppy… :(
